Dear Parents and Guardians,

As part of the requirements under Senate Bill 12, all Texas school districts must now obtain parental consent for students to receive nursing care and healthcare screenings during the school year.

To comply with this new law, we are asking all parents/guardians to visit the Spring ISD website to complete the SB 12 Consent Form. You will be given the option to:

Opt-In to allow your child to receive nursing services and participate in school health screenings (such as vision, hearing, spinal, and acanthosis screenings)

Opt-Out if you do not wish for your child to receive these services
